Seven months after opening my doors for business, the Fish Climb Trees website has gone live and what I have realised is that the site represents a wonderful collaboration of people who may or may not be aware of their contribution.
First and foremost a massive thank you to my friends at the Theme Group who have been a wonderful partner for not just my website but also the entire branding of Fish Climb Trees. I have worked with them for many years and have no hesitation in recommending their work. So if you are looking to re-brand your business or re-vamp your website, check them out at: www.themegroup.co.uk
Also a big thanks to Graham from Copland Cale Photography for helping me with the imagery. I have worked with Graham for many years and again have no hesitation in recommending him. Graham is a wonderful photographer and a calming presence at any event. He also has a great sense of fun and is always up for a challenge. Over the years we have worked on numerous events: it’s a knockout, land synchronised swimming and a Victorian tea party to name just a few. To view Graham’s work click www.copland-cale.com
And so to those who may not have realised their contribution…..
Firstly to my friend Tim Parry. I met Tim when we worked together at Royal Holloway and we became firm friends. He has been one of my biggest supporters since I started out on this journey and I know I will never be able to thank him for all he has done. Most importantly he is the brains behind the name ‘Fish Climb Trees’.
Deciding a company name is never easy and I had reached a mental block when Tim stepped into help. With no ideas flowing Tim spent a whole weekend sending through suggestions. When I woke up on Sunday morning to see the suggestion of Fish Climb Trees I knew he had struck gold. I love the name, the ethos behind it and the fact that I cannot help but smile every time I say it. More importantly other people love it.
Secondly to my friends and colleagues at both Royal Holloway and Kinetic Solutions, who gave me the confidence to step off the corporate ladder into this brave new world. Also the many people I have met over the past seven months who have helped shape my thinking with regard to my product offer and messaging.
Finally to my wonderful clients who have put their trust in this new kid on the block.
I know this website will be an evolving journey but I do feel it is important to celebrate important milestones like ‘going live’. If you have a few minutes please take a look at the site and let me know what you think – the good, the bad and the ugly!
